I was very happy to discover Hairbenders and Jo Johnson. I guess I'm an anomaly these days in that I need my hair to be permed - otherwise, it's just too straight for me. Jo has been great about accommodating my needs for permanents including acquiring the correct rods for my hair type and the amount of wave that I want from my hairdo. She listens well and has done a great job on my hair in the past 3 years since I relocated to the area. She is also very reasonably priced - much better value than the stylists in Provincetown.
Jo also always says that if there are any issues with the work that she has done that I'm welcome to come back for any adjustments. I've never had to take her up on the offer, but it shows her commitment to doing a great job for her customers.

I've searched for a source for a great cut on the Outer Cape, and finally found it here. Jo is talented, listens carefully, makes suggestions gently, and the result is a collaborative, quality finish. I'm a newer regular here and couldn't be more pleased.
